The first results of Benchmark tests of the latest iPad Air appeared on the web. They were discovered by one of the Twitter users.

The iPad found in the database has been marked as iPad 13.2, and inside it there is a motherboard described as J308AP. It is worth recalling that one of the so-called leakers informed earlier that this designation was assigned to a component located in the iPad with an LTE module. The basic variant has the number J307AP.

The new iPad Air scored 1583 points in the single core test and 4198 points in the multi core test. This result was achieved by a 6-core 2.99 GHz processor and 3.66 GB RAM.

For comparison, A13 Bionic can boast 1336 and 3569 points respectively. In case of A12Z processor, the results are 1118 points in single core test and 4564 points in multi core test. Note that A12Z had an additional GPU core unlocked.

During the conference Apple informed that the new iPad Air was equipped with 40% faster processor and 30% more efficient graphics in comparison to the one used in Air model with A12 Bionic.
